Dear Mamas,
I was doing everything for everyone else, and it made me feel overwhelmed
I was stuck without having any time for myself (even for going to the bathroom or putting on makeup), and it made me feel frustrated and resentful
I was operating on auto-pilot and unable to think clearly or enjoy life, and it made me feel numb and empty.
But then when we made the decision to homeschool my kids during covid times, I realized I needed to start taking care of myself as well so that I could have the energy to do this. I spent a lot of time and money figuring out how to rediscover what I loved about myself & how to take care of myself properly.
Now I’m taking better care of myself which makes me feel calm & controlled
Now I’m watching what I eat and making time for exercise which makes me feel lighter and more joyful
Now I have more clarity and can do things intentionally which makes me feel full of life and grateful
